Mathew Prior

A well modelled early 19th century bust of the poet, politician, and diplomat, Mathew Prior,
wearing a characteristic turban (1664 - 1771). One of the so called 'Lord Dorset's Boy's'.
He is buried in Poets' Corner in Westminster Abbey.
